Ice cream the simple, old‑fashioned way

Linda Lee’s opened its doors in 2025, tucked into the RiverTown corner of St. Johns, right across the street from Woodpeckers BBQ. If you’re coming from Green Cove Springs, we’re just over the Shands Bridge.

It’s a small shop on purpose. Scoops come generous, waffle cones come off the iron golden and still warm, and the folks behind the counter learn your usual fast. Finish a plate of ribs across the road, then walk it off with a cone.

Since opening we’ve added soft serve, milkshakes, fresh-baked cookies, and hot oven-baked subs at lunch. The neighbors keep asking for more, and we keep saying yes.

Dairy-free optionThere’s always a dairy-free scoop in the case. Right now it’s Cookies-N-Cream.
Kiddie cups are $3.50Proper little scoops for little hands, priced like it.
Waffle cones made hereBaked at the counter through the day. If you smell them from the parking lot, that’s us.
Order aheadThe whole menu is on Clover, so you can order before you cross the bridge.
Seasonal flavors rotatePumpkin Swirl shows up in fall and sells out. New tubs get announced on Facebook first.
Lunch, then dessertOven-baked subs run at lunchtime. Yes, people order a shake with their sub. No, we don’t judge.
